For over 25 years, Habitat for Humanity has helped low-income families reach their dreams of a place to call home.Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Central Delaware Habitat constructs simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowner-partner families. Habitat houses are sold to these families at no profit and financed with affordable, no-interest loans. The homeowners' monthly mortgage payments are used to build even more Habitat houses.

Habitat Only Builds Decent Affordable Housing

Habitat affiliates must build affordable houses. We accomplish this by partnering with various groups including volunteer workers and generous donors. Our site foremen act as team leaders to ensure our volunteers are properly led through the daily tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
